How to play Holocene by Bon Iver (THE CORRECT WAY-Special Strings Needed)

This is not a full instructional video. I only really wanted to clarify and help people avoid the many bad videos teaching the song incorrectly. For a fully instructional video on how to play Holocene exactly how Bon Iver plays it on the studio version, please follow the link below to WarrenMusic. He has a great and full version demonstration. For a complete and accurate teaching of Holocene visit m.youtube.com To play this song as it is played by Bon Iver, you will need special strings. The song is played using a Nashville tuning.( string gauges 028-.017-.012-.009-.014-.010.) Tune to EA DGBE at exactly one octave above the 440 standard with these strings. This is how Justin Vernon accomplishes the sound and the only way it sounds like the album. The difference is amazing. A capo is used at the first fret. Follow the link in the description for a great instructional To play this song correctly, you will need strings which accommodate a Nashville tuning.
